Doesn't this place looks like a giant glass cathedral? Amazing ambiance. Candle light dinner. Amazing food. Would highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert. It's so light and creamy. It's like eating a cloud. Being Australian and a huge Meet Wine & Co addict. The steak was a 3/5. The oysters were sensational. Perfect for a romantic date. P.s. It's a little pricey, however, the cheesecake is worth every cent.
Lovely, great service and delicious food. Would recommend the fois gras sushi Great if you want to treat yourself or any others
Exceptional service and food!
Nice delicate food. Price is relatively high.
Great ambience
Had a nice grill.
Worst place ever! Too bad we can't put no star as a vote. I expected the delicious menu with seafood which was said to be on the menu on their website. Turns out it was a menu with only 3 set choices. The most expensive one was as good as an airplane meal. Champagne was supposed to accompany it but i guess it was a bubbly wine. Worst experience ever!!
Been there twice so far and will go back again. Jap-western fusion food. Delightful place for dinner. Try the set menu.
Poor service and inexperienced staff. Not acceptable given the prices charged and the fact you have to book 3 months in advance during the festive season. One waiter held it together so thanks to him. The food standard was OK but waiters coming to our table not once, but twice with our main courses while we were still eating our entrees was really not great...would not recommend.
Beautiful food, beautiful service a high class restaurant
Head up to the Tap Room for the best range of craft beers in Hirafu.
Atmosphere - greatOysters - awesomeLamb - greatWagyu - good, but for USD 50 OKCrème brule - awesome
The tenderloin’s here is really good!! Definitely, we will come back here every trip we visit Niseko.
Wonderful ambiance and delicious local food. The highlight of our trip.
Good appetizers (go for the roast beef carpaccio or the clam chowder) the mains were just okay though. It's JPYEN5000 for Appetizer and Main combo. Some of our food came out a bite late, although the service was very friendly.
Ordered 5 to 6 meals. and all of them were great
Oyster and Cheese cake are the best, I will visit here again to enjoy both of them. Salad and soup are good. Steak and chicken roll are just ok. Quite crowded in dinner time, so please ensure you make a reservation in advance.
The starters (go for the sea urchin, sushi foie gras & sushi wagyu beef) & the appetisers (wagyu beef gratin). Oysters & seafood platter - u can get them at most places. The main courses (rib & cod fish) are so-so. If you’re a French wine fanatic, don’t do The Hokkaido one. Bread rolls are good.
Great food, excellent service and a warm friendly atmosphere.
Fine dining @ Niseko village... The food was really good!
Love the atmosphere, exterior looked so interesting so we went in to try the food. It was so good. No regrets. Music was on point, to make sure it felt casual but whilst serving fine-dining level kind of food.
Amazing food, good wine and a very romantic setting.
Amazing service, great food. Mix of Hokkaido and French food. Extra cozy
Delicious tasting food with great customer service and beautiful architecture.
The food here is the best I had in Niseko. Beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were exemplary. Ambience is a bit quirky and the music is somewhat eclectic but you definitely need to come here if you are in Niseko.
Great service, beautiful place and yummy food. Especially enjoyed their take on oden 😋
Gorgeous building, decent food- must-go in Niseko
Very good food. The foie gras sushi and the beef sushi were really good. The beef tenderloin was also very tender. They do offer kids meal with hamburger steak, fried chicken which was surprisingly good. The staff were very friendly. They brought food once ready instead of waiting us to finish the starter and the way they serve them can be improved, or else it would have been a 5 star rating. Was concerned if the place is noisy when I read the reviews but it was not that bad at all. It's more like a casual restaurant type noise and definitely not fine dining but I do not find it that bad.
The food was decent. The atmosphere was ok. But something about this place rubbed me the wrong way.
The cuisine tastes so good. The atmosphere is also fantastic, absolutely a highly recommended restaurant in Niseko.
a bit noisy for my taste but the food was excellent. Good service and an amazing wagyu filet !
Perfect! Booked for a birthday dinner. Birthday girl was surprised with a cake and candle and an infant high chair and cutlery was all set up at the table as we walked in. Waiters were so professional and funny. Food was sublime. Thanks team for a great night
Enjoyed the mussels and oysters at the barn and enjoyed dining within the nice architectural work. Helpful Japanese staffs with good command of English!
The starters and apps are the stars here, I'd consider sharing the larger mains and getting more of the small plates instead. Favorites were scallop carpaccio, seared wagyu, and the fish of the day (salmon).
Excellent food. Fantastic service!
Good contemporary Western fusion food. Lovely atmosphere.
It was a good meal. Well prepared course. We loved the all the dishes and drinks. Will go back.
Great tunes and ambience however quite simply the most over hyped, over priced restaurant in Niseko although not out of line with the route this resort is taking. Highway robbery for a very average experience.
Best resto in Niseko.
First time tried out at this restaurant based on positive commentaries. It was quite trendy on the architectural designed. Location was quite convenient. Japanese staff service attitude was good though sometimes they might make minor mistakes. Food was acceptable but far from great. Prices were reasonable with the “combo†set dinner with 1 starter, 1 appetizer & 1 main course to choose from the menu, which cost ¥6000 mainly. However, I couldn’t stand the loud shouting by staff on orders placed & dishes to be delivered, which ruined my appetite completely. Pre-booking seemed to be a must if one wants to dine here.
Fantastic dinner and service! The bar man was amazing and made some of the best cocktails ever. Food was deliciously amazing!! I had a wonderful time there!!
Very interesting atmosphere, lovely building and setting. Slight setback when we were seated as we saw we were all required to order at least one beverage, the cheapest of which was ¥600 sparkling water — minor annoyance. The pricier meals are certainly pushed on you by the waiters, as is the set menu. Ended up having the Wagyu Stew which was surprisingly pleasant, and the chicken as the main. Overall the meal was excellent, if you can get past the pushy servers and drink minimum. Meal was on the pricier side, even for Niseko.
Very disappointing dinner for 2 for 10,000 yen. Bubbly and red wine selection were lackluster(we tasted 4). Half seafood platter (6,000 yen) also disappointing in freshness and quantity. 2 stars instead of 1 because the four gras sushi and oyster appetizers were good.
The most elegant western dining place at Niseko. Recommend beef filet.
Great service by delightful Japanese girl - Ayimi! Very good beef sushi to start - flamed at the table! Mains were also delicious! Very nice atmosphere in a beautifully designed space. Wine list ok!
This time really awful whereas a year ago, great. New management? Gone downhill faster than the main slope in my personal opinion.
Requires you to pre-order your food weeks in advance which is a bit confusing. One of our orders got mixed up but the food was phenomenal! A bit hard to find with their small sign (the building is literally shaped like a barn though).
I can't emphasize enough how mediocre this place is. If you splurge on the high end local ingredients like uni and wagyu, they are good. But those ingredients don't need any skill to prepare. I had the seafood plater entre, seafood gratin, and roast beef and mushrooms appetizer. They were fine but definitely not great considering the price. The seafood platter was mostly squid (because that is cheap). There was only one scallop and it had a VERY strong flavor. Even the wine was unexceptional. There are so many good cheap bottles, this is kind of perplexing. Oh well.
Nice place to hangout
Delicious food and great service made for a very enjoyable evening at the barn. They also have the tastiest sake I’ve ever had, though unfortunately I didn’t think to record the name of it. We ate the lamb chops and the cod - both were incredible.
